1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CubeStack ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CubeStack provides a database-as-a-service platform that allows users to create projects, define database schemas, and access data through REST APIs. The Service includes a web-based admin interface and public API endpoints.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Store or transmit malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to store or distribute harmful content
  • Exceed your plan's usage limits in an abusive manner

5. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the data you store in the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas based on your plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage patterns suggest abuse.

7. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees as specified in separate agreements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CubeStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CubeStack from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the admin interface. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CubeStack operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
